I live for opening day of hunting season. I’m one of those hunters that doesn’t get any sleep the week before opening day of hunting season because of excitement. It’s that time of year when those hundreds of hours of scouting you put in all summer long, Just might pay off. Hunter’s put in hundreds of hour’s just for ten seconds of pure adrenaline. Seeing a deer in it’s natural habitat well make any person breathe heavy and get the shakes. Well I guess you could say I got my fair share of adrenaline pumping this year. I shot 3 buck’s and guided my lady onto a great buck. My first buck was a nice 4 pointer in maine, It was my first year hunting maine. My second buck was a nice 7 pointer in vermont, Shot him on the first day. My third buck was a big 8 pointer in new hampshire. I also guided my girlfriend onto a great 8 pointer in vermont. So yes it was a very productive year and well deserved, I put in a lot of time scouting this year and it paid off. I’m very thankful for my harvests i wont be buying any meat this year.
