Stay Bent Fishin’ Tours has recently been doing pre spawn bass fishing tours. The water temperatures have been 58 to 62 degrees, which are good pre spawn bass fishing temperatures. Most of the fish we have been catching were on suspending jerk baits and wacky worms. Most of the fish were in 3ft to 7ft of water. The large mouth bass we caught were found in shallow weed beds and back coves. The small mouth bass we were catching were a little deeper on the rocky points and sand points, but they are starting to make their (BEDS) – which are where the bass lay their eggs. It’s easy to find these spots because they clean the gravel through their gills and it makes a big white patch in the gravel, these spots are very recognizable. They guard these beds, any jig you throw in it they will eat. Good Luck and Stay Bent!
